Adventurous Hearts - Clifftop Elopement with K & A
mountains + lovers + the beautiful grain of film photography
I have no words for how perfect and beautiful this day was… Can we talk about dreams being made? I have been dreaming of shooting something like this for a long time now, and this really pushed me into exploring the world of travel photography and destination elopements. I’ve found my dreams, and it’s so exciting to explore these possibilities.
I will be heading out west in the spring to shoot in Yoho national park, Banff, and then travel further to the coast and explore BC!!! I can not WAIT! I’ve already got a few shoots planed while I am there but I would absolutely LOVE to spend more time there and work with others who love exploring this beautiful country as much as I do. Mountain top adventures? A swim in Lake Louise? I’m down for anything, I’m not afraid of heights (as you’ve seen if you watched some of my insta stories from Kyla and Andrew’s big day!! Stacey was holding me by my fanny pack as I leaned over the edge of the cliff to get that perfect shot hehe), and I’ve been working on my endurance so I can hike all day while I’m out West :D
Alright back to the lovers at hand….These are two of the coolest, most artistic, unique and authentic people I have ever met, and seeing as they spend most of their weekends hiking and exploring, a clifftop elopement was SO perfect for them <3
Keep scrolling to see the whole gallery and also to see the vendors from around Ottawa who made this day happen, I’m constantly in awe of the Ottawa wedding industry and the unique talent that surrounds us, so please give some appreciation to them ;) The planners did such an amazing job pulling together the look and feel behind the couple, and finding the right vendors for K &A, and together we told their story in a perfectly unique way <3
Are you an Ottawa couple considering eloping?
Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask some questions! I absolutely adore travelling and would LOVE to assist you in planning the perfect adventure elopement. I strongly believe your wedding day should be exactly what you want. Make sure you include at least a few minutes of doing something you and your love do on a regular day; whether it be a pit stop at your favourite pub after the ceremony, or heading out west with me for an adventure, make it yours.
Discounted wedding photography packages are now in place for adventure elopements; just ask!
