Some fun effects for a fun couple: check out this vintage shoot in a stylish Ottawa apartment!

I had such a wonderful time documenting lovely everyday moments in their very vintage/boho apartment. He popped the question privately two days later so we can basically call it an engagement session? heh.

Anyways, check out this shoot!! We started out listening to some favourite records over tea with their kitties.

The afternoon continued with asking them to do one of their favourite activities: baking <3

(Of course I suggested an outfit change, and she pulled out the cutest vintage dress!!)

To finish off I asked them to change into whatever was most comfortable and took a few more round the house (and up on the rooftop) cozy portraits, kitties included.

I frickin adore in home lifestyle sessions, and I’m pretty sure you will be convinced of an in home shoot of your own after this!!

This session was shot on 3 rolls of film (check out the standard couples portrait package for pricing and inclusions), one being a special effects film (notice the fun hues and blue star speckles in some of the images? I have a variety of fun films to add to sessions, ask me about them!). You always have the option of opting for 2 rolls of regular and your third roll an effects film like these guys did, this is an included option with my full session packages!

There has been no where more important than our spaces these days, let’s take note of the space we have made the most memories in over the last year.
