Documenting Life's Milestones - Alternative Graduation Session with Maria
I graduated from Carleton a couple years ago (any guesses on my degree?? Hint - not related to photography at all) so I never really got to experience Ottawa University's campus until this lovely graduation session!
I met Maria and her lovely family outside of Tabaret Hall and started with some lovely classic graduation shots and family photos. The group was SO cute, and it was so nice seeing the love and support this family shared. I'm so happy to get to be a part of these moments.
From here, we walked towards the rideau canal and kept going with some grad photos that are totally my style - greenery, sunshine and a couple good old lens flares to finish off the day.
I like to call these sessions 'alternative' graduation sessions because that's exactly what they are. I want you and your story to be able to shine through. For Maria, her family was a huge part of her years at university, and documenting this occasion with them was what she wanted to show. For some, they do sessions with their friends or with their significant other. Any way you choose, I'm more than happy to make your shoot exactly what you want, and allow you to showcase YOUR experience at University.
